Autism & Sexual Violence: Understanding Key Drivers – Online Webinar

Professionals across health, social care, education, justice and the third sector may be interested in this upcoming webinar from The Prevention Collective exploring the complex relationship between autism and sexual violence.
Delivered by Professor Clare Allely and David Russell, this 90-minute, research-informed session will examine the factors that can influence both vulnerability and harmful sexual behaviours within autistic populations. Topics include social communication differences, sensory and cognitive profiles, misunderstandings of social and sexual norms, and the impact of isolation, loneliness, coercion and exploitation.
The webinar aims to provide practitioners with a compassionate, evidence-based understanding of this complex area, while considering the implications for assessment, prevention and support across a range of professional settings.
