MAT Experiential Feedback & Improvement Event

  • 26th October 2026
  • 10:30

Monday 26 October 2026 | 10:30am–1:00pm | The Inkwell, Elgin

Moray Alcohol & Drug Partnership (MADP), alongside local partners, is holding a MAT Experiential Feedback & Improvement Event to hear directly from people about their experiences of treatment and support.

MAT stands for Medication-Assisted Treatment – an approach that combines medication with wider treatment, care and support for people experiencing problems with opioid use.

The event will share some of what we have learned through recent MAT experiential interviews and provide an opportunity to talk about what is working well, what could be improved and what matters most to people receiving support.

Lived and living experience is an important part of how we learn and improve. We want this to be a welcoming and supportive space where people can take part in whatever way feels right for them.

There is no pressure to share your personal experiences or discuss anything you would prefer to keep private. You can contribute as much or as little as you choose, and you are equally welcome to come along and simply listen.
