Protecting People in Moray is the umbrella name for a group of partnerships working to ensure public safety and well-being in our region. Each partnership sits under the oversight of Moray’s Chief Officer’s Group which comprises the council Chief Executive, the NHS Chief Executive (or nominee) and a representative of Police Scotland (usually the Divisional Commander). In addition, there are senior officers from various agencies and organisations who advise and assist in governance and fulfilment of statutory responsibilities.
Each partnership comprises statutory and voluntary organisations working in a cooperative, multi-agency manner to safeguard everyone living here in Moray regardless of age, gender, ethnic identity, religion or other unique features.
